Zahl In one possible timeline, the Zahl were a technologically advanced and generally benevolent humanoid species who, a generation prior to 2374, defeated the Krenim Imperium. The Zahl disbanded the Krenim fleet and retook the territories they had annexed. In 2374, two Zahl starships greeted the USS Voyager upon its arrival in their space. During the meeting, the entire Zahl civilization was erased from history by Annorax's weapon ship. The erasure of the Zahl achieved an unprecedented 98% Krenim restoration, although the Krenim colony on Kyana Prime was not restored. VOY: "Year of Hell" Zakdorn The Zakdorn are a race native to the Alpha or Beta Quadrant. Zakdorn are humanoids with pouches of thick, fibrous tissue on their cheeks. They have three pouches per cheek. For nine millenia, they were regarded by potential foes as having the greatest innately strategic minds in the galaxy. Because of this perception, no one has tested the Zakdorn in combat. As a people, the Zakdorn were generally replete with self-assuredness and overconfidence. They were members of the United Federation of Planets by the 2360s. Zaldan The Zaldans are a humanoid species characterized by webbed hands. Zaldans are insulted by Human politeness, since they view it as a form of dishonesty, and thus the proper way to address them is with brutal honesty. TNG: "Coming of Age" Zalkonian The Zalkonians were an advanced humanoid species native to Zalkon. By 2366, many Zalkonians began to undergo the process of evolving in to non-corporeal lifeforms. They began experiencing isoelectric bursts as part of this process. The Zalkonian people were frightened by those undergoing the change and their government began exterminating anyone showing symptoms. Some of those affected fled their homeworld but were ruthlessly pursued by the Zalkonian military. TNG: "Transfigurations" Zaranite Zetaran Life Form Zeon The Zeons are the humanoid inhabitants of the planet Zeon, one of the two M-class planets in an unnamed star system. By the mid-23rd century, Zeon had been living in peace for many generations, and had developed the beginnings of interplanetary spaceflight. Noticing the state of anarchy among the warlike, pre-spaceflight Ekosians, many Zeons came to Ekos in an effort to help their neighbors learn peaceful ways. Sometime after 2218, a Zeon colony was established on Ekos. TOS: "Patterns of Force" Zhuik Zora Fel The Zora Fel were ancient enemies of the Klingons, who were conquered by the great Klingon warrior Rurik the Damned. DS9: "Apocalypse Rising"  | ||
